Champagne are back after another successful trip to the Regional Convention in Newcastle. Last year Champagne achieved such a high increase in their score they won the most improved chorus award (picture left) and this year once again the scores increased on last year and they narrowly missed out on a bronze medal in the midsize chorus category. Champagne are now looking to increase their membership with singers who want to learn to sing close harmony and are prepared to compete at a high level with this well known and award winning barbershop chorus.

  • Do you enjoy singing in the bath or shower?
  • Do you want a new hobby?
  • Are you able to sing in tune?
  • Could you commit to weekly rehearsals, take part in local sing-outs and competitions?

If yes then contact us

Champagne is a friendly group of approximately 60 ladies, ages ranging from 11 to 70 plus, who enjoy singing four part unaccompanied harmony. The Chorus meet every Tuesday evening at St Mary's Methodist Church, Chapel Road, Par at 7pm until 10pm. Come along to listen, or maybe to take part. We are all just every day ladies who like to sing and have fun, we practice hard and perform to a professional standard.
